We were introduced to the new term "rush" meaning filming just to see how our plot looks. With the progress we have made so far, our group decided that we are not filming rush scenes, but rather only the scenes that we are not very sure of like the one of Diana being bullied. We filmed another scene, which turned out to be really cool because we had four different angles, with four cameras. We had to take many different takes because the timing wasn't right with Diana and Jenna walking in. Zan has also started editing the first few scenes so which watched those and realized that the scenes had to be turned into HD via iMovie because the quality was really bad.

Scene 3:
This is yet another confrontation of Diana with the mean group, but this time she has the choice and ability to leave, and she sits outside. She has a typical conversation with her bestfriend catching up on everything. This scene is important because it makes the movie more realistic and relate-able to everyone else's lives.

We spent today's lesson updating blogs, process-journals and organizing files. There wasn't much to reflect on for the lesson, but i realized, that i can't upload any videos because the files are too big, and with the slow internet, it is impossible.

We finally got the cast that we intended to have, so we have to make the choice between which 'Mean People" group to use. We also shot the scenes of Diana in different locations of the school to give a more detailed story. We wanted to use a tripod but the screw that connected the camera to the tripod was missing so i took the responsibility of finding the one for my personal camera, or look for one around town. We haven't uploaded the videos yet so we can't reflect on the scenes. Next lesson, i would like to get more scenes shot because we spent a lot of time organizing and discussing.

This is the first time in the movie where Diana meets the Mean group, they ask her about the essays she was supposed to give to them by the next few days. This is important as it sums up her reputation as an Essay Seller.

When you have the general gist of your plot, even improvisation works well. We spent today's lesson filming. The cast we had picked wasn't free at that time, so we used diploma students who had no class. On our part, we should have organized a time whereby everyone is free, but since that didn't happen, we had to work with the people we found. It turned out to look very professional. Zan came up with the idea of filming from different angles, so Janeth, Gladness and I had different cameras and assigned angles. When watching the video, we realized that when we recorded the scenes vertically, when rotated, it looked out-of-shape. That was a lesson learnt, the videos were a little shaky because our hands weren't very stable, so we decided to use a tripod next time.

Diana is an intelligent girl with a bright future. With the condition at home with her mom sick, we let the audience sympathize her because she is after all doing it to pay her mother's medical bills. It almost seems right, but after a while, she is threatened with the choice of stealing the answers for an upcoming test or loosing her social life. This is a pivotal point in the movie as we change from sympathy towards Diana to blaming her for the wrong choice. Things go bad with the plan and she is expelled.

Its amazing what you can do with and iPhone, hence, 3,2,1 Action! We spent the hour lesson, practicing and shooting the first and second scenes. With the way it went, i am proud of how focused we were. The quality of the shots were good, but with the background noise from the library, it was hard to hear the actual conversations. The camera was a little bit shaky, since this was more of a trial, we should use tripod. (Camera Stand).

Diana has a flashback whilst taking an entry exam where she goes back to the first days she started selling essay.
