Thursday 15th May 2014

We continued with the filming of the broadcasting scene and focused on Diana's expression. We had success with that. As an addition we also filmed our brainstorming conversations as another form of reflecting. We noticed and discussed the quality of the cameras, and since we have been using phones, we realized that the Samsung phones have better quality compared to the Sony cameras. That was a point of the editing team to take care of and from now on wards, the Samsung phones will be used to film. I also tried a new angle whereby i stood on the top of the desk and took what would be similar to an aerial shot. It turned our pretty good, it will look better when the facial expressions are added in zoom.

Scene 9: The Mean Group is shown the footage of Diana by Rosaline and she is dared to post it and send it to everyone in the entire school. Just then Diana enters the room and everyone starts at her and gossips. Tiffany announces and insults her while Jenna tries to calm her down and hide the truth from her.Diana storms off.

Monday 12th May 2014

We realised we had reached a stand still in our process, so we decided to make use of the few phones we had on us and filmed the scene where Diana goes viral because of her best friend's betrayal. We had the classes help as we gave them props and clear directions. Janeth joined the editing crew and i am between the filming and script group. We only had time to perfect the broadcasting scene.

Thursday May 8th 2014

During the course of the past week, we made very little progress on our movie, on Monday, i wasn't at school, so the team decided not to film as i had the camera. On Thursday, Lulu was sick and not at school, therefor we didn't film as she is the lead role. Instead i worked on my blog and making it more attractive.

Monday 28th April 2014

Disappointed with the cameras again, we shot more scenes. We decided to add a twist to the movie by letting Jenna betray her bestfriend Diana for her crush's phone number. Secrets are out and feelings are hurt. A lot of emotion is needed for the scenes and a congratulation to Zan, Gladness and Lulu to make sure the movie is as convincing as it would have been if it were true. We were stuck with using an iPod and a phone, but luckily the quality didn't drop to low. In addition to the phone and iPod, we can use an iPhone and my camera which are readily available and don't rely on factors beyond our control. Janeth decided to join the editing team with Zan, they are still busy working on editing the 7-9 scenes so far. Next lesson we look to show the best friend confrontation after betrayal, and watching the edited scenes as they go on.

Scene 6: After Diana texts Jenna to meet her at the principals office, Jenna peeps through the window to see Diana and Jeremy being affectionate. She takes a video.

Scene 7: Jenna watches the video she recorded of Diana, she is caught by mean girl Rosaline, who bribes Jenna to give her the footage, they  plan to meet after school.

Scene 8: Jenna waits after school to give Rosaline the footage but just as she hesitates, Rosaline comes, They swap the phone and a phone number which is Jenna's crush's'. A lot of emotion is portrayed in this scene

Thursday 24th April 2014

Everyone seemed to finally be getting back into school mode after a long spring break. We welcomed another member to our crew, part of the filming crew, Bruce. We filmed a few shots of the message from Diana to Jenna telling her its an emergency and to meet her at the Principals office. The shadow on the phone was coming in the way of the clarity, we solved that by increasing brightness on the phone. With three camerawomen and man, and the lack of cameras, we seem to become less efficient in terms of shooting angles and quality. We were forced to film with an iPod, hopefully next lesson we can be the first to get the cameras so that we can maintain quality throughout the film.
Scene 6:
Diana is working on her homework and she is stressed by the threaten she received about her social life and the test answers. She has a sudden idea, and tells Jenna to meet her at the principals office.
